Blessed with beautiful nature, Kozushima is a tourist destination where you can enjoy activities such as diving, fishing, and trekking.
The island is dotted with religious sites, such as Fuyugazawa, named after the "Izu Islands Water Distribution Legend," Sarutahiko Okami, who is associated with the Nijukasama festival, and the Kamizu Hyaku Kannon.
Tenjo Mountain, 572 meters above sea level, is home to a variety of alpine plants, deserts, natural ponds, and a spectacular view from the summit. There are also many spots where you can enjoy nature, such as the Akasaki Promenade, Miura Bay Observatory, and Buttooshi Rock.
At the Sabizaki Onsen Kozushima Onsen Recreation Center, you can relax while enjoying the view from the large open-air bath.

The wooden promenade along the coast is also famous as a diving spot and looks like a wooden athletic facility.
The emerald green water is extremely clear and filled with fish, making it ideal for snorkeling and diving.

Although it is a low mountain with an elevation of only 572m, the view that unfolds below from the summit is truly spectacular.

The Arima Observatory is located on the west side of the island and offers a panoramic view of Maehama Beach and Mt. Tenjo. At the observation deck, there is a 10m high cross called "Jurian's Cross."

The village of Kozushima is concentrated around Kozushima Port, and there are small stores selling groceries and daily necessities, making it an easy place to do your daily shopping.
The village fully subsidizes medical expenses for children under the age of 18 and also provides child allowances.
