◆Mulberry City Japan Heritage Center Hachioji Museum (nickname: Hachihaku)

This is a new exhibition facility that introduces the history and culture of Hachioji, the city of mulberry trees, with the theme of "Mt. Takao, a mountain filled with spiritual energy - the story of the mulberry city woven by the prayers of the people," the only Japan Heritage site in Tokyo to be certified.
With projection mapping and exhibition booths divided into four themes, people of all ages can enjoy learning about Hachioji's history and culture and the charm of Japanese heritage.
It is located in a commercial facility directly connected to the south exit of JR Hachioji Station, and has excellent transportation access. (Opening in June 2021)
In addition, "Hachioji at Home" is now available, allowing you to experience the charm of the mulberry city of Hachioji from the comfort of your own home.

▶Understanding Takiyama Castle through manga
This was created to commemorate the 2021th anniversary of the construction of Takiyama Castle in 500.
The exhibition explains the history and appeal of Takiyama Castle, which was built during the Sengoku period, and its lord, Hojo Ujiyasu.
It is available free of charge at tourist information centres in the city and can also be viewed on the city's website.
