[Would you like to work in Ogasawara?] Tokyo Metropolitan Government is hiring full-time employees!
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is recruiting staff to work on the "Fisheries Research and Guidance Vessel" that supports Tokyo's waters in the Ogasawara Islands!
The island region of Tokyo, comprised of the Izu Islands and the Ogasawara Islands, boasts many attractive features, including abundant natural beauty. In particular, the waters surrounding the Ogasawara Islands are vast, accounting for approximately 30% of Japan's exclusive economic zone. Furthermore, its location about 1,000 km from the mainland means it is home to many unique fish species not found elsewhere.
Located in the charming Ogasawara Islands, the Ogasawara Fisheries Center supports fishermen through research and development on marine resources and the marine environment, as well as providing outreach and guidance, and ensuring the safe navigation of fishing vessels.
